Research findings (Weber Shandick) on Millennials perspectives of Diversity & Inclusion in the workplace provide much ‘thought for action’ for employer and talent management professionals in 2017.

Results Overview:

Importance of Diversity & Inclusion when considering a new job?

  • Millennials (47%)

  • Generation Xers (33%)

  • Baby Boomers (37%)

6 in 10 of all employed Americans (58%) reported seeing or hearing about some form of discrimination or bias at their workplace

Most frequent discrimination is racial or ethnic in nature (22%)

Diversity & Inclusion improves overall business performance?

  • Millennial (27%)

  • Generation Xers (18%)

  • Baby Boomers ( 20%)

My employer does a good job communicating its diversity and inclusion goals, programs and initiatives = (44%) agreed
