AWE

In 2012, I started the Atlanta Workplace Column under Clarity Digital's Examiner.com platform.  Why? At the time, I was a green HR professional fresh off the approval of my graduate school dissertation. Additionally, my husband obtained a new opportunity in a new state.  

 

Subsequently this means new places, new poeple, new norms, new things to learn.   I'm passionate about people. Their well-being, growth, progress. Although those close to me would argue I didn't do this well as a child - I am actually addicted to sharing, learning, exploring, questioning, and . . . knowing - more today than yesterday. 

 

I am specifically passionate about Americas greatest natural resource - its citizens, its people, its workforce. Being a writer, it seemed fitting to share my insight, and passion while I learned about and actively researched my new professional and enviornmental landscape.

Last month, my dear Examiner.com became no more, essentially eaten like a mid-day snack by axis.com. So here we are.  AWE holds the same premise, the only difference being it stands on its own. 

 

Imagine just how much time we spend in the workplace.  Think of what this looks like over a lifetime. Consider what this represents in our lives, and what impact it will have on the ever evolving story of us.  I look forward to continuing this journey with you.
